Your life can change in a moment.

There are precious few moments in life — where what you say next, can change the direction of your life forever.

A job interview is one of those moments...

We've all been there. You've prepped, you're dressed in your lucky interview outfit, and so far you're actually answering questions about your experience and qualifications with ease.

Then the interviewer asks the seemingly easy question...

"Tell us about yourself."

A lump forms in your throat. You begin to sweat a little. What does that question even mean? It's not even a question! Should I talk about my family, my hobbies, my pet rock collection?!?

It’s time to tell your story.

Can you seize the moment?

With the Find the Author Within course - you can.

If you keep telling yourself the same old story, you'll keep living the same old outcomes.

In this video, David speaks to value of getting a new perspective on the story you’ve been telling yourself.

There is always a story. Ask yourself: are you the author of that story, or just an actor in someone else's?

We have created an online course that will give you the tools — not just to identify and articulate your preferred future, but actually cause it to happen.

That's the power of storytelling.

Become the author of your own best story.

Professional Coach, Coach Supervisor & Facilitator

Working through the course has allowed me to shed some of the old narratives I had that were limiting me and free myself from others' expectations for my life. It's been incredibly useful to take the time to understand myself, where I'm at and to start being intentional about creating the future I want for myself.

Your Storytelling Guide...

David Firth

David helps global clients institute profound practices for leadership engagement that encourages all people to be the source of change - rather than its victims or objects. This, he suggests, is not a top-down or even bottom-up shift, but an inside-out one.

Current and recent clients include Jardine Matheson, Campbell, Mars Inc, Pepsi, Softys, and the International Olympic Committee. He works largely VP, C-Suite, and HIPO Emerging leaders.

As an expert in human communication, he has been engaged on programs that are seen as ‘the jewel in the crown’ for clients’ leadership development. For Unilever, he helped design and co-facilitate – alongside Professor Jan Hammond of Harvard – the APP course, which ran 15 times over 11 years. For Mars, he has played a key role in the year-long Supply Leadership Development Program, which has run annually since 2011.

David’s books are a provocative complement to traditional thinking about leadership and business, and include Unconditional Communication, How to Make Work Fun!, The Corporate Fool and the subject of his TEDx talk, Change Your World One Word at a Time.

Born near Leeds in the UK, he now lives in Colorado with the love of his life, Keri, and has three sons, Oliver, Sam and Alex..
